Weekend fun!

Well I must say that other than the drama with JR, which im sure you all can imagine, I had a GREAT weekend. Sunday was the street tire race at the drag strip and the first time that me and Gary had been at our home track as a couple. It was a blast. ITs nice to be with someone who you dont have to entertain the whole time you are with them. Or to be introduced to people that you might not know and the other does. Not quite used to that. Well I seem some people at the track that I hadnt seen in a long time, that I used to be good friends with. Then just being around someone who likes your company, who is proud to have you around and includes you in on EVERYTHING that is going on, makes it that much better! Gary did really well at the race, it was close between 4 people and he ended up takin 2nd. I was still really proud of him, I think he did a great job with how the weather was and the lack of track prep. Next time, I am in the car, or so I am told. But I think that I am ready to do so and kick some ass at it! Not sure if I will be in his car, or an S10 that is being built, but I will be running something come next year. CANT WAIT!!!!! After the race we all went out to dinner like we normally do, and had great company there as well. I have some of the best groups of friends that anyone could ask for. Even if it wasnt the regualr "clique" that I hung around.

IT's confirmed!

Well its confirmed! I have the GREATEST guy that anyone could possibly want! Yesterday as I returned home from going to see Gary at the shop and running some errands, I found a tag on my door. It seems that Carin's flowers....only the best flower shop in the metro area, had left a notice on my door that they had something for me. I called to talk to Kathy and Gary had ordered me flowers because it was one month ago yesterday that we started talking. We had met sometime in June at one of the Vamp races. I have some good friends who race in the same class as Gary and he had come over to BS with everyone after the race back in june. Well me being the nice person that I am, I had invited him and his daughter Holley to go have dinner with all of us. I think there ended up being about 18 to the dinner party. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings (which he didnt even like) we had talked a little but not much. The following monday I had asked my friend Jess if there was a TV above where I was sitting because I kept catching him looking over my way. Well after a month of talking, and getting to know each other, yes there was a TV up there, but he was not looking at it...lol. Well over the summer we had seen each other from time to time at the track and both of us were just to shy to say anything....YES you read that right, I said I was to shy...lol. Something about him wouldnt allow me to walk up and give him my #. well not then anyway. The last in town race of the season he come walking up with Holley and she was COVERED in mud...lol...looked like a good time at the track to me. Well I had asked them again to go to dinner with us....not only had I asked them but others that were going too had. We went to dinner and got sat at oposite sides of the table! That plan didnt work at all...but I made my way to the end of the table at the end of our meal and told him that since Arrow was going out of business that if he needed parts or anything to give me a call. I left him my work # along with my cell...HEY if I am gonna pass on a # gotta make sure he can get me! He called the next day on 10-19 and we have both been hooked since! I dont normally talk on the phone after work but we talked for atleast 2 hours a night every nigth.....that is till we started spending the night with each other, now we lay there talking for hours! It is so great to be happy and I honestly couldnt of asked for a better man!!!!!!! Love ya babe!

Catching up

Well a week has gone by that I have been unemployeed....needless to say, it has not gotten any better. I have sent out resume after resume for no return calls. I thought I had decided to hold out till after the first of the year to get a job but it dont look like that is going to be a real option. When Arrow filed for bankruptcy they had stated that they would start our unemployment filings on the last day. Well on Wed, I had called to see if that was true, of course not! So I filed and now since I am in school I have to fill out some form and they have to review it, setting me back about 2 weeks before I can start to get paid. I just dont get it! Arrow sold our no compete clauses so we cant work pretty much anywhere that has to deal with the automotive industry. I feel like I have been sold like a slave! So I sit here no money and non coming in anytime soon. Another thing is that I have decided to cash in my 401K, I know not the smartest, and I have to wait for Arrow to sign off on that as well. Im sure that will be done in a timley manner. NOT! And to top things off Arrow was supposed to pay us for some spiff parts that we sold, and an extra weeks commission. Well I didnt get either on my paycheck friday! I just dont see how the owner can sleep at night knowing that people are going to lose everything that they have worked so hard to get, and he is going to be able to keep EVERYTHING! Plus still have a job! OK, to switch to a happy note! I have mentioned Gary before. I honestly dont know how I would get thru all this without him. He is such a great guy. Since I am going to be cashing in my 401K Gary is going to help me keep afloat untill I either get a job or my money from that. The other morning when leaving his house he had set me out a set of keys. I thought I was going to cry. I guess over the past few years I have grown acustomed to someone not wating to share anything that they had with me. Now I have a great guy, who loves my son, willing to share his life and posessions, and wants to help me out when needed. Can it get any better??? It sure dont seem like it! I think I had forgotten what it was like to be happy, and I am that for sure!!! I think that Trenton is too! He has been so much happier, sleeping by himself almost all night, and ask Gary to cary him from time to time. So maybe that is my silver lining to this cloud! New Beginnings!

Well today is the first day that I am unemployeed. I HATE IT!!! I am already bored! I dont really see how stay at home moms do it! I love being home with Trenton but since most of you know I dont care for cleaning..I dont really have much else to do! This weekend has been a pretty relaxing one. We (Gary and I) was supposed to go race yesterday but it was to cold, so we just spend the day hanging with Trenton and getting me a new wireless card, so that I can have contact with the outside world...lol. I know I havent said much about Gary, but what a great guy. I cant wait for my friends and the rest of my family to meet him.
Trenton is definatly in his terrible 2's!!!! Although he can drive me nuts he is still the love of my life! His smile can brighten even the dullest of days! Here is a picture of him playing in the bathtub, and yes its work safe! lol. He is growing like a weed and getting more and more of a personality everyday! It amazes me how much kids understand. I also had Gary's little girl Holley for a little while on Friday morning. She is such a cutie as well. 6 years old going on 18. Smart as can be!!! and dont miss a thing!
